Safety

Every save creates a timestamped backup: filename.bak-YYYYMMDD-His
Confirm dialog on full-file saves
Clear message that the related service must be restarted / reloaded for changes to take effect

What you need to do on the Windows box

Copy the updated index.php to D:/www/sys/db/index.php (or your actual location).
Ensure the three config files exist under D:/www/sys/conf/ (samples are in artifacts/conf/).
Make sure the PHP process that runs the panel has write permission to that folder.
If your real my.ini / php.ini / nginx.conf live in versioned directories (e.g. mariadb/13.0.2/, php/php8.5.10/, nginx/1.31.6/conf/), either:
- Point the three define() constants to those real paths, or
- Keep the files in conf/ and start the services with the appropriate --defaults-file / include / -c flags.

After saving a config, restart the corresponding service (MariaDB, PHP-FPM/CGI, Nginx) for the new values to apply.

Copy it to D:/www/sys/db/index.php (or wherever your panel lives) and make sure the three config files exist under D:/www/sys/conf/.

Prerequisites

Install the latest Visual C++ Redistributable (required by both Apache Lounge and PHP):
https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe (or the latest 2015–2026 version)
Run everything as Administrator when needed.
