BUG FIX, SQLite → MariaDB / MySQL SQL Converter Ver 1.3
Version 1.3
Latest fix
In normalize Insert Quotes, doubled SQL quotes ('') were stored as two characters, then escaped again:
text
Source: 'God''s' → logical: God's
Old bug: content kept '' → output 'God''''s' ❌
Fixed: content is ' → output 'God''s' ✅What the converter already handles
- AUTOINCREMENT → AUTO_INCREMENT
- Table name prefix/suffix
- INSERT OR IGNORE / INSERT OR REPLACE
- Type conversions (when enabled)
- Drop table/view statements
- Strip PRAGMA / sqlite_sequence / android_metadata
- Identifier quoting → backticks
Still a limitation
If the source SQLite dump itself has broken quoting (unescaped God's instead of God''s), no converter can perfectly recover meaning. Your nasb.sql / erv.sql dumps had some of that, which is why manual repair was needed for those files.
